Over the past few days, I’ve been in a back and forth, with one particular person, in the comment section of this post: Food Lies.

I will be writing a longer post on what came about in the near future. However, many people in the comment section are under the impression that the foods on the bottom of the graphic are unhealthy. I couldn’t disagree more. I am a firm believer that MOST whole foods can be consumed by MOST people, WHEN PREPARED PROPERLY. Even soy, often demonized, can be consumed if it is properly fermented. Please note, I did not say ALL people. There are always exceptions to every rule. I was one such person in the past, and I have people in my life who are limited on the foods they can consume.

While I do research, and prepare my thoughts on my comments in the above Facebook post, I’d like to share an article from Cultured Foodie Life. This article discusses why beans, nuts, seeds and grains need to be soaked prior to eating.
