Morning Affirmation~ “As I exhale, stress leaves my body.”

Wow, it’s only Wednesday and I already feel overwhelmed. Some weeks are just like that. The main issue for me is a broken hot water heater. I’ve had a few other things go wrong, but the hot water heater is the main one…no hot water going on 2 days. You really don’t realize the little things until they’re not there. But, if my only worry is no hot water, I’m not doing too bad. I have my health, and my beautiful family. But, that doesn’t mean the last few days haven’t been stressful.

I chose today’s affirmation, specifically because I needed a way to calm the tension in my body.

As I exhale, stress leaves my body.

What I like to do is close my eyes. Take a deep breath and exhale, while saying this affirmation in my head. However, if you’d like another stress relieving technique, how about Tapping, or The Emotional Freedom Technique.
