For me, I went from being RELIGIOUS, to being SPIRITUAL. Many people on a spiritual path will say this same thing. What’s the difference? and What does this mean? This article touches on that. For me it meant going from asking the religious questions: “Are my actions sinful? ” or “Why did God cause me to suffer?” … to asking the spiritual questions: “Am I a good person?” or “What can I learn from this suffering?” The difference is subtle, but it’s important. The focus shifts from being sinful and blaming God, to being loving and learning from life.
